ColdOne Elbow ice packs are the Gold Standard for controlling elbow pain and elbow swelling from over exhertion, stressed elbows, elbow sprains, and to cure tennis elbow. ColdOne ice packs combine cold therapy and compression therapy in a single ice pack and are MD and trainer recommended to reduce pain and swelling in a sore elbow or swollen elbow.

Elbow sprain is one of the most common sports injuries found in baseball pitchers, golfers, tennis players or anyone else with elbow tendon injuries such as nursemaid's elbow. The recommended sports therapy medical treatment for a sprained elbow is to use cold (ice wraps) and compression to stop elbow pain and stop elbow swelling. How to Ice an injury.

The sooner a sprained elbow is treated the sooner the recovery period. Ice therapy and compression is hard to achieve on the golf course, the sports field, or the tennis court. But not with a ColdOne refreezable cold wrap, the most recommended sports therapy treatment for a sore elbow or swollen elbow.

Direction

Place a ColdOne ice pack in your freezer for 2 hours and then apply it to your sore elbow after every exercise period. The compression drives the cold deep into the muscles, tendons and ligaments to provide soothing relief and faster recovery from an elbow injury or elbow tendonitis. Coldone ice packs significantly decrease your return to sports partipation and to cure tennis elbow.

Coldone Cold Compression ice packs should be used immediately following a soft tissue injury for at least 20-30 minutes, then followed by repeated use every three hours for the first day. The second day usage 3 times daily is sufficient. Once the elbow swelling has subsided, the wrap need only be used when swelling or pain are present following use or exercise of the injured area. Most people find they use the wrap occaisionally for an extended time while the injury heals itself.

Treatment of Tennis Elbow Tennis elbow usually gets better by itself. But treatment may improve your symptoms more quickly. The sooner you give your elbow a chance to heal, the more likely your arm is to return to full strength.

Only use your arm as much as the pain allows and avoid repeated twisting movements.

You can try treating your elbow pain at home by applying an elbow ice pack , gently rubbing your elbow with an anti-inflammatory painkilling gel such as IbRelief.

You should see your doctor if your elbow isn't any better after a few weeks. But if you have a fever or your elbow is red and swollen you should see your doctor straight away.

Steroid injections in your elbow will probably relieve the pain for a short while. But you may have more problems in the long run. You may want to wait and see if your elbow gets better by itself without treatment.

What Causes Tennis Elbow Tennis elbow is not just for tennis players.

Tennis elbow is an overuse injury. Many people fail to realize that tennis elbow happens to people who do not play tennis or any form of racquet sports. It can be attributed to repeated contraction of the forearm muscles. Repeated motions and stress to the tissue, such as using a hammer or even painting, may result in inflammation or a series of tiny tears in the tendons that attach the forearm muscles to the bone at the outside of your elbow. A single accident, such as a direct hit to the side of the elbow, or falling on an outstretched arm, can cause tennis elbow.

I suffered with tennis elbow for 6 months and thought I tried everything. This tennis elbow cold wrap is fantastic and played a major role in my recovery. It's easy to use and allowed my to ice several times a day because I just had to slip it on. No bags of ice or drippy water mess.

This product was easy to use and was very comfortable. The velcro straps allowed me to continue moving around and doing things and not have to sit down with a bag of ice and wait for 20 minutes before I could do something.
