The ice wrap can be frozen in about 2 hours in a residential or commercial freezer or refrigerator freezer. Once frozen, the wrap is applied to the neck and upper shoulder area and the compression adjusted by stretching and attaching with the Velcro fastener.

The neck ice wrap will provide icing for about 20 minutes and then gradually return to body temperature. The compression drives the cold deep into the soft tissues of the entire neck region.
